My name is Katie Sam (or KS, for short), and I get to work with awesome people and make cool stuff for a living. I am passionate about effective storytelling, quality craftsmanship, and honest communication. I have experience both as a freelancer in the film/TV space and as a full-time producer in the ad agency world.

Beyond producing, when on set I often direct, AD, prop style, or photo assist. Whatever needs doing! Members of my hired crew tell me that I am easy to work for, and they appreciate that I never hesitate to jump in and help.

In the corporate arena I have experience with merger management, client/campaign pitches, talent recruitment, and SOP development— as well as typical production, set, and budget management. I believe this experience uniquely positions me to operate as seamless liaison between client and agency, agency and crew.
